What is Single-Side Bopp Adhesive Tape made of?
Bopp tape is a high-performance adhesive tape that is commonly used for packaging and labeling. It is available in a variety of widths, thicknesses, and colors. It can be printed with logos, messages, or warnings to communicate important information.

The Backing or Carrier -
Most adhesive tapes consist of a backing or carrier (paper, plastic film, cloth, foam, foil, etc.) that is coated with an adhesive and a release liner, if needed. The tape is then wound up into a long jumbo roll that is slit to several narrow width bands.

The Type of Adhesive -
Most adhesives are based on butadiene-styrene, butyl, polyisobutylene or nitrile compounds. They provide highly flexible bonds and are resistant to environmental and chemical damage.

The Temperature Limit -
Some adhesives can adhere only at certain temperatures. This is why it's important to know the temperature limits of a particular tape.

The Tack and Elongation -
Most tapes have an initial high tack, but they may elongate if they are subject to a strong application tensile force. This can cause the tape to tear or pull apart.

What are the other types of tapes -
Other types of tape include rubber-based adhesives, acrylics, epoxy resins and latex gums. Each has its own unique properties and can be used for specific applications. Many are designed to substitute traditional fasteners like screws and bolts, saving you time and money on a job site.
